Game-by-game predictions for the rest of the Colts season after the Bye Week
By John Makuch
Week 15 vs. Steelers- L
Given the injuries in the AFC North the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to end up needing this one to potentially win the division, but so will the Colts in the AFC South. However, the Colts have done a solid job in getting pressure on young quarterbacks, and they will need to do that against Kenny Pickett and this Steelers squad. Defensively, the Steelers are up there with anybody, so Minshew and Co will have to deal with a strong secondary and of course, TJ Watt.
Pittsburgh has emerged as a contender in not just their division, but in the AFC as well, depending on which version of Pickett they get out there. Either way, the Steelers have shown themselves as a better team than the Colts throughout the season, and coming off back-to-back wins, Indianapolis will be due to lose here.
This one is not completely out of reach, and all of these games have been winnable on this schedule, who knows where this team would be at this point with a healthy Richardson? But the Colts have who they have, and Pittsburgh has found some true stability as of late.
The fact that the Colts could very much win in any of the remaining games on the schedule shows that once this team gets healthy and finds a few more pieces, they will be a force to be reckoned with in this conference, just not yet.
Colts record: 7-7
