It is fair to say that this is not how the Colts expected this season to go in just about every aspect. Anthony Richardson was selected fourth overall, and injury concerns came out almost immediately. After concussion protocol and a shoulder injury, he would eventually be out for the season due to that shoulder, and now, Gardner Minshew mania has made its comeback.

There was also a bit of Zack Moss mania with Jonathan Taylor also being out for the first four games, especially his big game against the Baltimore Ravens. Moss had 30 carries for 122 yards and even caught a touchdown as the Colts took down a team shaping up to be a potential AFC favorite.

What has been surprising is how successful the Colts have been with Minshew running this offense and Moss during his time as the lead back, as the Colts now sit at an even 5-5 coming out of their bye week with seven games left in the regular season.

Now, the Colts have a chance at the playoffs, and just saying that makes it feel like Jim Mora is breathing down my neck saying "Playoffs? I just want to win a game." But this time it is a possibility, the Colts are the last team on the bubble right behind the Houston Texans, and are not far back behind Jacksonville for the division. So mathematically, there is a chance, but they have to go out and beat the teams on their schedule, so let's see if they can.
