From the moment the Indianapolis Colts used the No. 4 overall pick on Anthony Richardson, fans have been dreaming of what this kid will be able to do moving forward. After his epic showing at the NFL Combine and Florida Pro Day, Richardson has added loads of people in his corner.

With that said, how good can the youngster be for Indy moving forward? In an interview with NFL Analysis Network, a former NFL exec not only said he's got high expectations for the signal-caller, but he thinks he can be even better than a former NFL MVP.

"The kid simply has it all. He’s got the body, he has the arm, he has the coachability. I think his ceiling is a much better version of Lamar Jackson.

How good can Colts QB Anthony Richardson be moving forward?

Holy smokes, that quote is enough to fire up plenty of Indy supporters out there. While some people are worried that Richardson may be a bit of a raw prospect, there's no question that he's got a ton of potential for the AFC South.

Are there going to be growing pains for him moving forward? Sure. However, let's not forget that not every quarterback is able to be lights out in Year 1 in the league. Take a look at Colts rookie Peyton Manning for example. He was far from amazing early on in his career, but then he became one of the best QBs of his generation.

We're not trying to compare Richardson to Manning at all, but we're just saying that the first-round pick has all the tools and abilities to become a standout for this organization. Richardson will look to turn plenty of heads at training camp and then during his rookie campaign. We can't wait to see what he'll be able to get done.
