Indianapolis Colts fans are looking forward to Year 2 of the Anthony Richardson era. The Colts spent the fourth overall pick on Richardson in last year's draft and the rookie quarterback started four games before missing the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Before going down, Richardson had thrown for 577 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception while rushing for 136 yards and four scores with his legs. Gardner Minshew stepped in and did okay in Richardson's absence but Colts fans obviously want to see the kid the team drafted leading the way.

Fortunately, Richardson was recently cleared by doctors to throw and that has Colts fans amped!

If the Colts want to be a playoff contender next season, they need Richardson to be healthy and productive. He looked the part of a promising rookie quarterback before the injury took place so now the important thing is for him to remain healthy and win games with this team in 2024.

The AFC South was more competitive than people thought it'd be this past season with the Texans sneaking in and nabbing the division title over the heavily hyped Jaguars. The Colts will have their work cut out for them in 2024 but fans will feel a lot better about their chances if Richardson is out there taking the snaps.
