The Indianapolis Colts have been around since 1984. Before that, they were the Baltimore Colts from 1953 to 1983. The Baltimore Colts were dominant in the 1950s, winning two championships in 1958 and 1959. As far as the Super Bowl era is concerned, the Colts have been to the game four times and won two titles.

The first-ever Super Bowl appearance for the Colts came in the 1968 season, which was Super Bowl III where they lost to the Jets. They made it back to the big game two years later and won their first Super Bowl title against the Cowboys.

It'd take over three decades before the Colts would sniff a Super Bowl appearance again, getting there in the 2006 season with Peyton Manning at the helm. The Colts beat the Bears to bring home their second Super Bowl trophy but first since relocating to Indianapolis.

The Colts got back to the Super Bowl one more time with Manning as their quarterback, doing so in the 2009 season but coming up short against the Saints.

The numbers were nothing spectactular but more often than not, the quarterback receives the reward. Plus, it's Peyton Manning, of course he's getting the MVP award and Colts fans didn't complain.
