Colts schedule 2024: How many primetime games does Indianapolis have?
Last year, the Indianapolis Colts were one of four teams that did not receive a primetime game. The good news is that won't be the case this year but the bad news is that we won't see the Colts in primetime much during the 2024 season.
The schedule reveal told us when the Colts would be playing each of their games and they won't play under the bright lights of primetime until late in the year.
How many primetime games do the Colts have this year?
The Colts are only scheduled to participate in one primetime game, as of this writing. Of course, games can be flexed into primetime but for now, we're only going to see the Colts in a standalone game one time.
Indy's primetime game comes in Week 11 when they'll travel to New Jersey to take on the Jets on Sunday Night Football. This could be an interesting match-up, especially if Aaron Rodgers is able to stay healthy for the primetime game.
It's disappointing that the Colts only received one primetime game and that it'll take place on the road but it's not hard to blame the schedule-makers for ignoring them in that department. They might have had a winning record last year but they missed out on the postseason and we don't know what Anthony Richardson is capable of as a starter.
Maybe the Colts will get added to the primetime slate more if they play well and other teams disappoint but for now, fans will have to wait until November 17th to watch them play under the lights.
