Well, it was a nice dream while it lasted.
For a moment there, it looked like the Colts might do the thing. The Cardinals had long been rumored to be open to trading off the 4th overall pick, and the possibility of getting a generational prospect β whose dad also happened to be one of the All-Time great players for the Colts β was right there for the taking.
Instead, nothing happened. Nothing exciting, at least. The Cardinals' 10 minutes came and went, and they stayed put and took Marvin Harrison Jr. The dream is dead. I guess it's Cooper DeJean time in Indianapolis. Colts Twitter was, uh, not pleased.
