The Indianapolis Colts have ensured that Michael Pittman will remain a member of the Indianapolis Colts and fans are elated. Pittman is expected to sign a three-year deal worth $70 million, according to Ian Rapoport, who broke the news on Monday.
The Colts drafted Pittman early in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft and after an underwhelming rookie season, the USC product broke onto the scene in 2021. He hauled in 88 catches for 1,082 yards and six touchdowns that year and had his best year in 2023 with a whopping 109 receptions for 1,152 yards and four trips into the end zone.
Pittman was franchise tagged but fortunately, a deal got done and Pittman is staying in Indianapolis for the next three years.
How are Colts fans reacting to Michael Pittman's deal?
After years of fighting the good fight, I can now lay to rest knowing not only did I give it my all, but I was correct in my assessment:

Michael Pittman Jr. is a WR1 🗣️ pic.twitter.com/fDfpo2Y5O3
Pittman definitely proved he was a WR1 this past year with his 100+ receptions and 1,100+ yards. It should be a ton of fun watching him and Anthony Richardson tear it up in 2024 and beyond.
S/O to all the accounts that had Michael Pittman Jr. going anywhere else in free agency. It was very obvious that he wasn’t ever going to leave Indianapolis.

It never felt as though Pittman would really leave even with the talking heads doing what they do best in speculating where the second-round pick could end up. The answer is in Indianapolis.

Going to be one of the most dynamic duos in all of football ⚡️pic.twitter.com/mSAb2Uvpdi
Richardson didn't get to do a ton during his rookie year but hopefully we see him and Pittman destroy opposing defenses this year.
Great move for the Colts, and incredibly important for the continued development of Richardson

Excited to see what this franchise can do this season, especially in the AFC South where competition is continuing to rise 👀
The Texans might be getting a lot of love but the fact of the matter is that the AFC South is still wide open. The Colts narrowly lost the division title last year and should be able to make a run at winning the title in 2024.
So happy for Pittman

Former Colts legend (yes, I'm being sarcastic) Dan Orlovsky is stoked to see Pittman get the bag.
Good deal to keep their WR1 in Indy. Think him and Anthony can build something special

This appears to be the sentiment amongst Colts fans. Richardson only appeared in four games last year but now he'll have his best weapon when he returns to action in 2024. Let's get after it!
