Colts fans can’t help but laugh at the Texans training room embarrassment

Apparently no one taught the Texans how acronyms work.

With the Indianapolis Colts' first regular season game coming in a little over two weeks against the Houston Texans, why not start firing up the trash talk? It's easy with division rivals but the Texans made it even easier with this latest error.

J.J. Watt, who played with the Texans for 10 seasons, tweeted a picture of the Texans' training room while visiting the team. It was a nice photo and the purpose mostly served that Watt was there and advertising that.

Well, thanks to Travis D. Holmes on Twitter, we now know that the Houston Texans don't know how acronyms work. Holmes zoomed in on the wall from Watt's photo and pointed out that the acronym that Houston was going for doesn't work here.

On the wall is the word SWARM in bright red lettering. Without knowing anything about this year's Texans squad, most would assume it stands for something. Well, surrounding the word SWARM on the wall is "Special Work Ethic" and then below it is "Relentless Mindset"

For those who didn't catch that, the first letter of all of those words would form the word SWERM, not SWARM. As Homer Simpson famously says, "D'oh!"

Colts fans have a new reason to laugh at the Texans

The AFC South should be a lot of fun to watch this year with the Colts, Texans, and Jaguars all finishing the 2023 season with winning records and looking to compete again this year. Even the Titans could be an intriguing team to watch though them winning the division feels like a longshot.

These are the kind of stories that are fun because it's a silly error that even Texans fans would probably acknowledge, laugh at and/or be embarassed by. Will it impact the 2024 season at all? I'd be pretty surprised if it did but that doesn't mean we can't have a good laugh about it.
