Colts don't have to sweat failed top-10 trade after Adonai Mitchell pick
There are really two ways you can view this blog.
One is that the Colts finally righted a wrong and took a wide reciever in this weekend's NFL Draft. Hurray! They were heavily rumored to be interested in trading up to take Marvin Harrison Jr., but that didn't happen. So when they took Texas WR Adonai Mitchell in the 2nd round, it was a move that was long overdue.
The other is that the Colts made a mistake not trading up for Marvin Harrison Jr., and the idea that Mitchell is going to be as productive as Harrison is, at best, a coping mechanism. But that'd be a bummer, and it's Friday night. So, let's just try our best to imagine that taking Mitchell is a good response for not landing Harrison. Adam Schefter certainly thinks so!

Colts tried to trade up into the Top 10 on Thursday night, presumably for a WR, but instead get one in round 2.
There you have it, Colts fans. You don't even need to worry about Marvin Harrison Jr. anymore. Honestly I don't even remember who Marvin Harrison Jr. is. But even if I did, I wouldn't have to worry about him anymore. Another classic Chris Ballard chess-not-checkers move.
