Colts 2023 free agency tracker: Who’s joining and who’s leaving?
An updating list of all the Indianapolis Colts free agency moves during the 2023 offseason, including the players that Indy loses and the ones Indy signs.
On Monday, March 13, the NFL’s free agency legal tampering period started. This is a two-day window where teams can negotiate and agree to contract terms with unrestricted free agents. However, no deal can be signed or be considered official until Wednesday, March 15, the actual start of free agency and the new league year.
The Indianapolis Colts are a team that need to make moves in free agency so that they can improve from their 4-12-1 record this past season. However, since Chris Ballard has been general manager in Indy, the Colts aren’t really an aggressive team in free agency. There’s reports that Indy could be trading some veteran players, and also making other moves to clear cap space, so Indy could be more active this year than usual.
The bulk of signings for the Colts will probably be re-signing players that are becoming free agents. However, Indy will certainly have some guys that leave this offseason as well. Let’s take a look at Indianapolis’ 16 unrestricted free agents and how their free agency unfolds.
