2. More defense than offense will be selected in this year's draft

The main focus of this draft for the Indianapolis Colts has been who will throw the ball, well this team needs more than that as we've mentioned. This draft is also loaded with talent on the defensive side of the ball, and the Colts need corner help, and linebacker depth.

Even if the Colts end up going out and selecting one of the top quarterbacks, they should still end up following that selection with corner and other defenders. After trading away Stephon Gilmore, and losing Brandon Facyson in free agency, Indy really needs to add cornerbacks.

This team will probably draft a quarterback and a receiver to help that quarterback out, but defense is going to take up the rest of the draft it seems.

Indy could go with Penn State corner Joey Porter Jr. if they find themselves at a different pick by trading down, and really build a nice tandem in their secondary. The same rings true if they go out and get Jalen Carter, or one of the other top defensive players in this year's round of players.
