As the Indianapolis Colts start mandatory minicamp, here are three interesting storylines to watch for during the three-day period.

On Tuesday, the Indianapolis Colts will start their mandatory minicamp. From Tuesday, June 13, to Thursday, June 15, every player on the roster has to be in attendance as Indy has its last team activity before the final break of the offseason. After mandatory minicamp, the Colts will be on break until the start of training camp in late July.

Although it’s just a three-day event of practices, mandatory minicamp is often a critical period to monitor the storylines that are bubbling up ahead of training camp. This year will be no different for Indianapolis. Between injuries, newcomers, and position battles, there will be a ton to watch for at Indy’s minicamp. Let’s take a look at three storylines for Indy.

3. Who is healthy for the Colts?

Throughout OTAs, a big storyline was how many of Indy’s players were sidelined with different injuries. Indianapolis’ two biggest stars, Jonathan Taylor and Shaquille Leonard, weren’t participating as they work their way back from surgeries, and promising rookies, JuJu Brents and Josh Downs were also sidelined. Several other players sat out with injury as well.

Fortunately, no one suffered any major injuries, or were sidelined with an injury that should keep them out this season. The team was just being cautious since it was only OTAs. Now, in mandatory minicamp, it’ll be interesting to see what players are on the field and who’s still rehabbing their injuries.
