1. Quarterback Matt Ryan is still available

This one may not be that surprising. Matt Ryan is 38 years old, has played 15 years in the NFL, and is coming off the worst season of his career. However, he hasn’t officially retired, and when the 2022 season ended, Ryan expressed that he wanted to keep playing, and that he believes he still has something left in the tank.

While Ryan waits for the opportunity to prove that, he joined CBS Sports as a football analyst, a role that he got a taste of during last year’s postseason. Ryan seemed like a natural on television and many people expect him to excel in this role as an on-air analyst.

However, for as good as Ryan might be on TV, he’s been adamant about the fact that he hasn’t retired and that the right circumstances could get him back on the field. The biggest question is if those ideal circumstances will ever come calling.

To Ryan’s credit, for as bad as 2022 was for him and the Colts, he did have some promising moments. As the season approaches, and quarterback situations fall into place, Ryan could be getting a call from a franchise that needs some veteran help.
