2. Defensive end Yannick Ngakoue is still available

Yannick Ngakoue may be one of the most productive players that has played for as many teams as he has. When the Colts traded for Ngakoue last offseason, they became his fifth team in his seven-year career. Despite having that many destinations, Ngakoue has been a consistent pass rusher.

Of those seven seasons, Ngakoue has recorded eight or more sacks in all of them. That includes four seasons with over nine sacks. Last year with Indianapolis, Yannick Ngakoue led the team with 9.5 sacks. Considering his consistency in getting after the QB, he should certainly have interest from several teams.

Considering how important pass rushing is in today’s NFL, this may be a case of a veteran waiting on the right call or waiting for training camp, because there’s no way that no team is interested in having Ngakoue.

In a recent interview, Ngakoue revealed what he’s looking for in his next team. He said that he wants to play for a contender and that he would also like to have a multi-year deal because he’s “ready to have a stable home.” As the season nears, there will likely be a team that’s willing to offer Ngakoue that stability.
