1. Anthony Richardson is a player to watch for Colts

Of course, no player will be more watched than quarterback Anthony Richardson. He’s been the topic of conversation all offseason, and everyone will finally have the opportunity to see him in an NFL game on Saturday. Even if it’s unofficial, there’s still plenty to be excited about.

On Thursday, Shane Steichen announced that Richardson will be starting the game, and that the starters will play about a quarter. Highlighting that Richardson has been doing good in camp, Steichen said the team wants to get him out there and seee where he’s at in his development.

By starting the game, Richardson will have the opportunity to play with the starters and against Buffalo’s staters. This is the closest it can get to a real game for the rookie quarterback, and that should help evaluate where Richardson is. It’ll be exciting to see how his athleticism translates to the league, and where he is as a passer.

The most important thing, of course, is that Richardson, and everyone else, stays healthy. Also, it’ll be great to see the team and important players showing signs of progress, giving fans a reason to believe that this season will be better than last year.
