The Indianapolis Colts lost to the New York Giants in Week 17, a humiliating loss considering the fact that the Giants are easily the worst team in the league. Yet on Sunday, the Colts made even Drew Locke look like an all-star, as every facet of the New York team outplayed the Colts.

Pat McAfee, a former punter for the Indianapolis Colts, is no stranger to courting criticism with the Colts, most notably getting into a social media feud with Colts team captain Zaire Franklin. And he didn't hold back for a second about his opinion on the Colts-Giants disaster.

On X, he tweeted a long diatribe and alluded to his previous feud with Franklin.

"I’ve said what I believed to be the truth about the team.. & a bunch of 'Colts fans' on the internet were trying to get me booed out of the city," he wrote. "Current players, who have won nothing during their entire tenures, started using me and my face to try and paint me as the enemy in the city I’ve committed my life to. And in the end… everything went.. just like I f***ing said it would. In the biggest moments everybody with a brain knew they’d crack.. and they did."

He further pointed the finger at the overall culture of the Colts' team.

"A blind person could see the red flags on this team.. Work ethic questions, NEVER happens on good teams.. Preparation commitment questions, NEVER happens on good teams.. Late to meetings, NEVER happens on good teams.. Late to/skipping treatment, NEVER happens on good teams.. The franchise QB tapped out of a game.. on 3rd down.. in the red zone.. because he was tired… NEVER HAPPENED in the history of the NFL," he said. "That’s literally the only thing you need to tell someone (who knows ball) and they could tell you everything about this team."

McAfee further said he was not going to renew his season tickets, and then further talked about it on his show.

"I feel like I was very optimistic about this team for a very long time," he said, and added, "[Ballard] always says, I trust our guys. I trust our guys. He's paid all these guys that have been here for a long time. They still have never won."

He further reiterated that there is a larger problem happening behind the scenes - and that the Colts need to stop attacking him, and start looking at themselves.

"Late to meetings, nobody that's good does that. Nobody that's good. Missing or skipping treatment, nobody that's good does that. Having preparation questions publicly, nobody has that. Work ethic questions publicly, nobody has that. Nobody good has that problem. It's not a professional operation over there," he said. "So whenever I have to point it out, it's like I become an enemy as opposed to somebody that's being like, hey, we got to tighten our s*** up. But I don't know if you can flip that switch, which I said in that. I don't know if you could just become a professional overnight either. I don't know how that happens. I don't know what the future looks like for the Colts, but I do know there's a lot of us from what I've learned from reading the responses to that, that are Colts fans, which I am, that are about fed up with it."
