As the Indianapolis Colts battled the Detroit Lions, one of their best wide receivers was injured. Josh Downs had a seven-yard catch from Anthony Richardson, but afterwards, stayed down and it appears that his shoulder was injured.
Ashton Dulin, meanwhile, also exited the field with an ankle injury.

Concern for Right AC/Clavicle injury and/or labral injury.
Angle + force give concern for clavicle on this one. Staff is checking on him down on the field. Not anticipating good news. pic.twitter.com/Ik8ayozbML
Downs and Richardson have had great chemistry throughout the season, but in this game in particular. In this game, he had three completions for 27 yards, but he would have had 57 more that were all called back on penalties.
So far this season, Downs has had 50 receptions for over 550 yards, and he and Richardson are known to have a deep bond. "Josh has been my guy since Day 1," Richardson told the IndyStar. "We both got drafted together. We both got ready by throwing and catching passes together.
"Just him being by my side, even through my injury last year, I appreciate that dude."
Downs was thankfully able to return, though Dulin was ruled out for the rest of the game. He has played with the Colts for six years, and spent much of 2023 on injured reserve with an ACL tear.
