The Indianapolis Colts took a trip over to London for their Week 4 game against the Washington Commanders, and luckily they were able to come out of the road trip with another notch in the victory column.

It wasn't the prettiest game to start, but the second half saw the floodgates open for Indy, ending in a final score of 30-13. In the NFL, the only stats that matter are victories, and this was a successful outing for Indianapolis in that department.

The Colts have returned to .500 for the first time this season, and fans can only hope that this effort was the kick the team needed to get the season back on track. Here are the three players who stood out most from the win.

3 Indianapolis Colts players who brought their best in Week 4

RB Johnathan Taylor

Week 4 was one that had a rough start for the Colts offense. They fell behind 6-0 early, and quarterback Daniel Jones was struggling with incompletions and a costly fumble. This was the Commanders' game to lose at the start, and the Colts offense needed a jump-start to get them back in a very winnable game.

Enter Johnathan Taylor, the Colts' leading rusher one the day with 95 yards and two touchdowns. On a day when the passing attack struggled at times, the Colts needed a dominant game from their most talented player.

They asked him to deliver, and deliver he did. A 2026 Indianapolis Colts team sans Jonathan Taylor is not a product that fans want to see, and so when we are lucky enough to see Taylor put the team on his back yet again, it should always be appreciated. The 2026 Colts are a confusing and nebulous team, but the one position without question marks is the RB1.

WR Laquon Treadwell

The Colts' highest-paid receiver by far, Alec Pierce, has been sidelined for the past few weeks. Yet again, the team would need a receiving threat to step up to alleviate some pressure off of stacked boxes against Jonathan Taylor.

It wasn't a sterling day for quarterback Daniel Jones, but one receiver did make his life a bit easier. Former highly touted prospect turned first-round bust Laquon Treadwell has had a tumultuous career, bouncing around from team to team and mostly contributing on special teams.

However, he's been a legitimately solid receiving option for Indy throughout the first four weeks. He finished the day as the Colts' leading receiver with 42 yards on five receptions. It has been a receiver-by-committee approach for Shane Steichen's receiver room, but Treadwell has been a very solid option.

LB Jaylon Carlies

Let's get it out of the way. Yes, the reason Carlies is being named here is because of his interception, the team's only interception of the day. Really, though, it can't be overstated how huge that turnover was.

This was a one-possession game at halftime, and despite having the Commanders playing their rookie third-string quarterback, Athan Kaliakmanis, early on in the contest, Washington was hanging around in the game.

Carlies intercepted him early in the third quarter, setting up another Jonathan Taylor rushing score to give the Colts a two-possession lead. There were some ups and some downs after that point, but after Carlies' interception, it really felt like the Colts were in the driver's seat for the rest of the game.

Turnovers are splash plays, but they are also the most important plays a defenseman can make. Jaylon Carlies deserves his flowers.
