Who knew that Daniel Jones was going to be the player who unlocks this Colts' regime. It's been something to behold, but it's working thus far. Indy is now 5-1 on the season, and it feels like this team is going to run away with the AFC South title.
The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans feel like non-factors at this point, and the Jacksonville Jaguars seem to be a year early at this point in time. Well, the Colts will continue on their way, and it seems like double-digit wins is going to happen quite soon.
The rest of the division is shaky, and the Colts do have some very winnable games remaining on their schedule in 2025. After some bombshell news breaking on Monday, the Colts actually have been gifted yet another win to add on.
The Tennessee Titans just fired Brian Callahan after a 1-5 start
Brian Callahan and was in over his head from the beginning and never seemed to find any sort of groove with the Tennessee Titans, as he gets the axe after less than a season and a half of the job, making it a very short tenure:

The Colts have had a ton of blowout wins this year, and one of them was a few weeks ago in Tennessee over the Titans. They beat them by 21 points. Well, before the Colts meet them again in Week 8, they'll have to get by the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7.
If they could beat the LA Chargers and get to 6-1 on the season, you would struggle to see how they don't again blowout the Titans, this time at home in Week 8. It's not out of the question for Indy to get to a massive 7-1 on the season, and at that point, conversations would need to be had about this team potentially earning the top seed in the AFC.
They currently are the top seed in the AFC and would need to get to 13 wins, if I had to guess, to capture the top seed in the conference. The Colts are in a totally different situation, as third-year head coach Shane Steichen has absolutely put an elite product on the field.
The Titans become the first team in the NFL to make an in-season firing, and the franchise could now get a bit of a headstart on their coaching searco for 2026 and beyond.
