The Indianapolis Colts are hot right now. Five games into the 2025 season, the team could be undefeated. If not for poor Adonai Mitchell's mistakes in Week 4, Indy would be. Oddly, as banged-up as Indianapolis's cornerback group has been, overall, the Colts have been lucky with injuries.
That holds true entering Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. Slot corner Kenny Moore II is still out with an Achilles injury, but he has missed the last couple of games, and Indy has been OK. Indianapolis will also be without running back Tyler Goodson, but he has seemingly been injured for most of the season.
The real issue is that Indy cannot stop having corners get hurt. After Moore was hurt, the team signed veteran Mike Hilton, and he is now injured. That leaves Chris Lammons to pick up the slot corner reps, but he is solid in the spot.
Indianapolis Colts remain mostly healthy entering Week 6 matchup versus the Arizona Cardinals
In Week 5, Lammons played 43 snaps in the slot, and he allowed just two of his four targets to be completed for only five yards. He also had a run stuff and broke up a pass.
Every other Colts player not already on injured reserve should be available for the game. That means wide receiver Alec Pierce will return after missing two games with a concussion. His return likely means Mitchell hardly sees the field, if he sees it at all.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals aren't as lucky. Quarterback Kyler Murray missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices with a foot injury. He did practice on Friday, but he will probably be limited on Sunday, assuming he plays.

CB-Kenny Moore II (Achilles)
RB-Tyler Goodson (groin)
Alec Pierce has cleared protocol and is good to go.
The Arizona offense has struggled quite a bit in 2025, even with a healthy Murray. Second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is finally beginning to emerge, it seems, but the Cardinals still only average 4.8 yards per play (27th in the league) and 20.6 points a game (23rd).
Arizona was hurt by starting running back James Conner getting injured in Week 3, and he will miss the rest of the season. Still, the Cardinals shouldn't offer much of a challenge for the Indianapolis Colts' defense, and if they do, that should be an indictment of Indy defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.
