A mortal lock.

The Indianapolis Colts won't take many good memories back with them from Baltimore after their 24-16 loss to the Ravens. But for this key player, his NFL debut will always be a game to remember.

There aren't many positive things to take away from a game where your maybe, possibly, who knows, starting quarterback gets hurt after completing just two passes. Luckily, Anthony Richardson only suffered a dislocated finger and is day-to-day. But he didn't exactly look like Peyton Manning while he was in there, either. He looks about as far from Number 18 as I do.

One of the big problems for the Colts is that no one else on the roster will remind you of a functional NFL quarterback, either. Daniel Jones reminded everyone why the Giants gave up on him, and rookie Riley Leonard managed to play even worse, despite facing second- and third-stringers that will, in some cases, be selling insurance or coaching high school players by September.

Both are excellent endeavors, but not quite NFL-caliber talents. Luckily, Indianapolis did have some players stand out, one defender in particular.

Hunter Wohler is a mortal lock for the Indianapolis Colts roster

It's one thing to look great in practice, but it's an entirely different enterprise once you're in a live game. If there were any doubts that Hunter Wohler was going to make the 53-man roster after the terrific camp he's had, he swept those off the board against the Ravens.

Wohler was all over the field in his first NFL action. At one point, I could have sworn I saw him make a catch in centerfield at Camden Yards. He lined up in the box and roamed deep. Frankly, I'm shocked he didn't line up at defensive end. The biggest surprise is that he wore the green dot, relaying the defensive calls. He finishes with six solo tackles and nine combined, the most on the team.

Not too shabby for a seventh-round pick. If there were any doubts about Wohler's impact on the Colts this season, I believe it's safe to say he removed every last one of them with that sterling prime-time performance.
