The Indianapolis Colts' 2024 season has come to an end. It was a disappointing season for a team that fans hoped was on the upswing after a promising 2023 campaign. Unfortunately, Shane Steichen was unable to build on his promising inaugural year as a head coach, and the team didn't make the playoffs.
With the 2024 regular season in the books, it's time to look ahead to 2025. We don't know when the Colts will play each team on their schedule, but we at least know who is on the schedule for next season.
The Colts' schedule will consist of them playing a home and road game against everyone in the AFC South. They'll also face the entire AFC West and NFC West, while squaring off against the second-place team from the AFC East, AFC North, and NFC South.
Colts 2025 home opponents
- Arizona Cardinals
- Atlanta Falcons
- Denver Broncos
- Houston Texans
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Miami Dolphins
- San Francisco 49ers
- Tennessee Titans
Some unique opponents coming to Lucas Oil Stadium in 2025 are the Cardinals, Falcons, and 49ers, who will visit from the NFC. The Colts get the Cardinals and 49ers because the AFC South and NFC West are playing each other next year, and they'll play the Falcons due to both teams finishing in second place in their respective divisions.
Colts 2025 away opponents
- Houston Texans
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Los Angeles Rams
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Seattle Seahawks
- Tennessee Titans
For Colts fans wanting to catch their favorite team on the road next year, you'll have some intriguing road venues to visit. The Colts will play on the road in Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and then have two different away games in Los Angeles.
The road schedule looks pretty brutal, as the Colts have to play the Chiefs, Chargers, Rams, and Seahawks as the visiting team. Considering that the Chiefs and Seahawks play in two of the loudest stadiums in the league, those won't be easy games for Indy. While road games in Los Angeles aren't going to be as noisy, they're still two road games against good teams from the 2024 season.
Let's hope that the Colts can turn things around and be a playoff team in 2025.
