The 2-3 Indianapolis Colts take on the 0-5 Tennessee Titans on Sunday, October 18, with kickoff set for 1 pm ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy. Quarterback Daniel Jones and the rest of the team have no business losing to the hapless Titans.

Let's just assume the Colts win. It's a safe assumption, right? If that happens, Indianapolis will still be firmly in second place in the AFC South, trying to chase down the Jacksonville Jaguars for first place and just maybe an eventual playoff berth.

Before you get your popcorn and ice-cold Coca-Cola ready, the following is what you need to know to prepare for the game. By the end of Sunday, Indy should be 3-3.

How to watch the Indianapolis Colts vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 6

FOX will carry the game (FOX 59 in Indianapolis) with a good crew calling the game. Chris Myers will do the play-by-play, Jonathan Vilma will provide analysis, and Jen Hale will report from the sidelines.

You can stream the game with YouTube TV NFL Sunday Ticket and on NFL+ locally. If you don't live in the Indianapolis or Nashville areas, you can watch the game on replay with NFL+, as long as you have a subscription.

If you can only listen to the game (or would rather), you can do so on NFL+ (again, with a subscription), or locally at 93.5 or 107.5 The Fan, 97.1 HANK, or the Ascension St. Vincent Radio Network. Matt Taylor will do play-by-play, Charles Arbuckle will be the analyst, and Larra Overton will be the sideline reporter.

Colts vs. Titans injury updates in Week 6

The biggest question for Indianapolis heading into the game was an unexpected one. Tight end Tyler Warren suffered a groin injury in practice on Friday and was listed as questionable. The Colts might not need Warren to beat Tennessee, so his being held out, even with a slight injury, might have been the move to make.

Otherwise, linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ribs) and wide receiver Ashton Dulin (hamstring) were listed as out. They missed Week 5, too.

The Titans also had two players listed out. Starting safety Kevin Winston Jr. is dealing with a quad injury. Defensive lineman Jordan Elliott was dealing with a personal matter.

Storylines to watch for Colts in Week 6

Clearly, this is a game Indianapolis cannot lose. The team is 2-3, and key members of the organization need the team to make the playoffs, or they could lose their jobs. The Titans haven't won a game entering Week 6 and haven't won an AFC South game since January 2024.

To lose at home would be brutal for head coach Shane Steichen and general manager Chris Ballard, but again, the game shouldn't be that close. Heck, maybe even backup quarterback Anthony Richardson sees his first action of the season because Indy could be so far ahead that the team can afford to take Daniel Jones out in the second half.

This should also be a game where the Colts' defense looks brilliant. Tennessee has scored the fewest points in the NFL through five games and is also 31st in yards per play.

What might happen between the Colts and the Titans

Indianapolis normally starts well offensively, and an opening-drive touchdown should be in order, and perhaps followed by another. The Colts get out to a 14-0 lead and just ride that the rest of the way. The game won't be close, and after the game, coaches will talk about how the team has progressed and is on the right track.

The issue is that what fans see in Week 6 will be a lie. The Titans are so bad that not much can be learned about the Colts unless the team loses. That would be a travesty, but that won't happen.
