As the Indianapolis Colts prepare for the draft, all eyes are looking ahead to who the embattled team might end up choosing. The Colts have not won their division in years, and general manager Chris Ballard's approach to free agency has left the team with numerous holes on the roster needing to be filled. Thankfully, Ballard seems to have realized the error of his ways, making several big signings at the start of free agency, and now, fans are waiting to see what move the Colts will make in the draft.

One of the most notable positions of need is at tight end, and it's assumed that the Colts will take either Penn State's Tyler Warren or Michigan's Colston Loveland in the first round. But that's just the first round, and evidently, there is interest from Indianapolis at the prospects coming out of Ohio State University (OSU). According to Jake Arthur, several representatives from the Colts were there for OSU's Pro Day.

So who is available from Ohio State that the Colts might be interested in? Here are a few options that make sense for Indianapolis.

RB Quinshon Judkins

Indianapolis has one superstar running back in Jonathan Taylor, and they picked up Khalil Herbert from Cincinnati in free agency, so signing another RB might seem unnecessary. But the Colts are in desperate need of depth at this position, and having several experienced players to learn from in his rookie season could help Judkins ease into the role. Taylor and Herbert will likely serve as RB1 and RB2, respectively, and Judkins could fill in as needed, and potentially help on special teams, too.

DT Tyleik Williams

The Colts are in desperate need of defenders to help with their pass rush. Whether at defensive tackle or defensive end, this is a serious area in need of more depth. Yes, there is DeForest Buckner, for example, alongside Kwity Paye, Grover Stewart, and Laiatu Latu, but... that's it. The Colts need help here, fervently, and Williams could help provide the depth they need.

OLs Josh Simmons and Donovan Jackson

Previously, the Colts have an elite offensive line unit at the beginning of the 2024 season, but injuries hampered them, and once the season was over, they lost several of their key linemen, including rising star Will Fries. That means Indianapolis will need to find suitable replacements, and both Simmons and Jackson could be intriguing prospects to consider.
