After a four-game win streak heading into Week 9, the Indianapolis Colts dropped a stinker of a game to the Pittsburgh Steelers and fell to 7-2 on the season.

Well, in Week 10, they did get back on track with a win over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime, but it was another sloppier game from top to bottom, and Indy could have easily lost that one.

Some have wondered if the wheels would begin to fall off since this team has won so much and since Daniel Jones hasn't exactly been playing super well these past couple of weeks, but when you look at Indy's remaining schedule, the true tests are only just beginning.

The Indianapolis Colts are about to embark on their toughest test of the 2025 NFL Season

The Colts are officially on their bye week and can sit back and relax for a week or so. It's much-needed as well, as the defense is banged up, and winning this much has to take a physical and emotional toll on everyone in that building. With the AFC South looking the way it does, the Colts may only have to win three of their remaining seven games to clinch the division, but that cannot be the mindset.

In fact, Indy is in a position to capture one of the top seeds in the AFC playoffs, as they feel like the most complete team between themselves, New England, and Denver. Well, if we peel back the curtain a bit, the Colts' remaining schedule really puts this team through a huge test:

Week 12 @ Kansas City Chiefs
Week 13 vs. Houston Texans
Week 14 @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 15 @ Seattle Seahawks
Week 16 vs. San Francisco 49ers (MNF)
Week 17 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 18 @ Houston Texans

Every one of their remaining opponents has a winning record besides Houston, but the Texans have gone 4-2 over their last six games and are trending upward. As you can see, the Colts have a slew of elite defenses to go up against.

The Jaguars and Texans rank in the top-3 in the NFL in interceptions, for example. The Texans also allow the lowest passer rating to opposing QBs this year. Other teams like the Chiefs and Seahawks both sport stingy defenses as well. Heck, Seattle might just be the most complete team in the league right now, or at least is in the NFC.

To put it bluntly, this is a brutal remaining schedule for the Colts. Sure, this team has won 80% of its games thus far, but as Indy heads down the stretch, each game is going to mean a little bit more, and with this gauntlet of elite opposing defenses, we'll see just how good the Colts' offense can be.

The remaining seven games are going to tell us a lot about how good the 2025 Indianapolis Colts are.
