The Indianapolis Colts absolutely crushed it with their The Simpsons-themed schedule release video. This time, they won't have to scrub it off social media, and they even made sure to leave Tyreek Hill entirely out of it.

Leaks had already hinted at some of the biggest matchups of the season for Shane Steichen's team, but now that it's officially official, it's time to speculate about every game and what it might mean for the Colts.

Notably, that includes the rookies and their career milestones, like the first sack, touchdown, or interception. Talking about picks, it looks like A.J. Haulcy may have to wait until Week 2 to finally get his first career interception. However, it will be well worth the wait.

Indianapolis Colts' A.J. Haulcy will pick off Patrick Mahomes in Week 2

The Colts will host the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener. Their new offense will be a bit of a question mark, given that former offensive coordinator Todd Monken is no longer calling the shots and they've lost some weapons like Isaiah Likely.

That said, Lamar Jackson has always been great at taking care of the football. Jackson has only tossed double-digit picks once in his career, and he hasn't had more than seven interceptions since 2022.

As such, Haulcy may have to wait until the Colts' primetime road game against the Kansas City Chiefs the following week to pick off a pass. Mahomes will be coming off a major injury and might not be as mobile as he usually is, and he tends to make mistakes once the pocket collapses.

Mahomes threw 11 interceptions in 14 games last season, and he's had at least 11 every season since 2021. He'll be playing cautiously after a complicated knee injury, and the Chiefs' offensive line will probably regress without Jawaan Taylor. Add the Colts' new-look pass rush to the mix, and Mahomes might be in for a tough night at Arrowhead Stadium.

Haulcy, formerly known as "Mr. Give Me That" for his impressive ability to generate turnovers, might be salivating at the thought of recording his first career takeaway in primetime and against one of the greatest to ever do it.

He recorded 10 interceptions during his college career, including a conference-leading 5 in 2024, and he also forced four fumbles. Most rookies need some time to shake off the jitters and make an impact in the pros, but with Week 1 already in the books, he'll be in a much better headspace when the Colts take the road to face Mahomes.
