With the 14th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select... While we don't know the ending to that sentence yet, we're inching closer to the draft. Will the Colts add some offensive line help or will they look to bolster the defense?

In the latest mock draft roundup, two mocks have the Colts targeting the same player while another one has the team adding help to their interior offensive line.

Colts linked to same defensive player in 2025 NFL mock draft roundup

NFL.com: Jihaad Campbell, LB (Alabama)

Chad Reuter of NFL.com likes the Colts taking Alabama's Jihaad Campbell with their first-round pick, noting, "Campbell's ability to defend the run, move in coverage and rush the passer bolsters the team's linebacker corps after the departure of E.J. Speed."

The Colts could use help at the linebacker position and while it's not considered to be a sexy pick, especially in the first round, it'd be hard to be angry about taking a versatile player like Campbell.

Sports Illustrated: Jihaad Campbell, LB (Alabama)

Gilberto Manzano of Sports Illustrated also likes the idea of Indianapolis snagging Campbell with its first-round draft pick. "The Colts have needs at edge rusher and inside linebacker. Campbell can play both positions after moving from edge rusher to linebacker because of the logjam of pass rushers at Alabama."

The fact that Campbell can play both linebacker and edge rusher makes him an even more appealing option. The Colts brought in Lou Anarumo to take over their defense in 2025 and Campbell would be an excellent weapon to give him right off the bat.

Campbell makes tons of sense for the Colts so it's hard to be mad about two mock drafts having the same idea here.

CBS Sports: Donovan Jackson, IOL (Ohio State)

Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports went in a different direction and selected Ohio State's Donovan Jackson with the Colts' 14th overall pick. There's no debating that the Colts could use help on their interior offensive line and considering the question marks at quarterback, at least the protection in the trenches won't be an issue.
