The Indianapolis Colts have to make their final roster cuts by 6 pm ET on Sunday, August 30, and the team has all the information it needs to make those decisions. Training camp and the preseason are done, and, for some players, with mixed results.

Most of the roster was set, of course, but maybe as many as 10 spots were unsettled heading into the preseason. The outcomes of those games didn't matter, but the individual roster battles certainly did.

So who is staying and who is leaving the Colts in a make-or-break season? Below is the latest as reported by verifiable sources.

  1. Latest Indianapolis Colts roster cuts
  2. Updated Colts 53-man roster
  3. Notable Colts cuts
  4. Potential waiver wire targets from around the NFL

Notable Colts cuts

For some strange reason, Chris Ballard decided to make defensive lineman Colby Wooden part of the roster cuts. Wooden came over in the trade that sent Zaire Franklin to the Green Bay Packers. In essence, Ballard sent Franklin to the Packers for literally nothing.

Unsurprisingly, given the way the preseason played out, the Colts kept Spencer Shrader as kicker and released Blake Grupe. Now, the hope is that Shrader makes the move worth it.

Potential waiver wire targets from around the NFL

Not on the waiver, but the Colts did trade for center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger from the Buffalo Bills. This likely meant the end of the Indy line for Dalton Tucker or Jimmy Morrissey.
