Despite having an up-and-down seasons, the Indianapolis Colts are still in playoff contention, and if things go their way this weekend, they could even still have a shot at winning the AFC South.

Meanwhile, voting for the 2025 Pro Bowl is ongoing, and to be selected is a big deal. Players are chosen through votes from fans, players, and coaches alike, and despite having a 6-7 record, there are still several Colts who could make an appearance this year; three are already listed in the top 10 for current votes. Here are five that have a good shot of making it.

Quenton Nelson

This one is a surprise to absolutely no one; Nelson has consistently been viewed as one of the best guards in the league. He's also been to the Pro Bowl six times already.

He's ranked in the top 10 for both pass and run blocking, and is rated the ninth best guard overall by Pro Football Focus. Nelson also has managed to stay healthy all season so far, making all 13 starts and remaining a constant presence for a heavily-battered offensive line.

At the last total, he was ranked #10 in votes at the guard position.

Nick Cross

Every Colts fan knows there have been difficulties when it comes to defense, but not for Cross; he's been having a standout year, and the Pro Bowl votes prove it; he's currently ranked #4 among strong safeties.

Cross currently leads the NFL in tackles, at 125, and is ranked highly by Pro Football Focus on run defense. He comes in at the top 10 for forced fumbles, solo tackles, assists, and stops; he's consistently seen as among the best strong safeties in the league right now. This is just his second season, so if he is chosen, it will be his first appearance in the Pro Bowl.

Zaire Franklin

The last Colts player to currently be in the voting leaderboard -- Franklin is #2 in the outside linebacker category -- Zaire Franklin has yet to go to the Pro Bowl, though he was named an alternate in 2024. This year, if he does make the roster, it will be very much deserved.

Not only is Franklin a steadfast leader for this Colts team, he's also one of the best linebackers in the NFL. He's broken the Colts' single season record for tackles twice, has been nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2023, and was named to NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2024.

There's no doubting that Franklin deserves to go to the Pro Bowl this year.

Bernhard Raimann

Currently, Raimann is not among the leaders in voting, but he should be. Though he doesn't garner much attention, he's a fantastic offensive tackle who should get more attention. His Pro Football Focus grade has him ranked in the top 10 among all tackles, and since being drafted in 2022, he's gotten better each year.

He has dealt with some injuries this season, but overall, he's steadily performed at an elite level, and that should be recognized by the NFL community.

DeForest Buckner

Another player not currently in voting contention who should be is team captain DeForest Buckner. He plays at an elite level, and Pro Football Focus has him ranked in the top 10 of all defensive tackles, as well as 5th for pass rushing.

Being placed on injured reserve earlier this year may have hurt his chances, but since returning, he's also returned to form as arguably the best player on the Colts' defense... and in the NFL. He's been to the Pro Bowl three times, and was voted #66 to the NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2022, and he shouldn't be overlookg this year among voters.
