3. Colts can sign DJ Chark

The Detroit Lions were one of the surprisingly competitive teams this past season and they had one of the most explosive offenses in the league. DJ Chark was one of the weapons contributing to Detroit’s high-scoring offense. Luckily for the rest of the league, Chark only had a one-year deal with the Lions and will now re-enter free agency.

In his year with the Lions, Chark dealt with an ankle injury early and missed six games, but eventually returned to the lineup in Week 10. He ultimately played in 11 games and caught 30 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns. If he was able to play the full season, his numbers would’ve been really impressive.

The closest Chark ever came to playing a full season was in 2019, when he played in 15 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In that season, Chark caught 73 passes for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns. He also was selected for the Pro Bowl that season.

Chark would be a great addition to the Colts. He’ll be able to provide an element of explosiveness that Indy’s offense is lacking and he’ll be another consistent receiver for Indianapolis. Indy has lacked depth at wideout for a while and adding Chark would certainly help with that.
