New York Giants defensive end, Kayvon Thibodeaux, taunted the Indianapolis Colts after sacking Nick Foles who left the game with an injury.
The nightmare of a season continued for the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday against the New York Giants. Trailing 24-3 at halftime, the game was already out of hand when veteran quarterback, Nick Foles, was sacked by rookie defensive end, Kayvon Thibodeaux, late in the second quarter. As Foles writhed on the ground in pain, Thibodeaux laid next to him and celebrated by doing snow angels. It was a visual that some on social media found funny and one that others deemed classless as they criticized the rookie defender.
Safe to say, many Colts fans weren’t happy as they felt that Thibodeaux was celebrating over a very clearly injured Foles who was forced to leave the game with injured ribs. However, in fairness to Thibodeaux, he may have not initially known that Foles was hurting since he started his snow angels celebration immediately after rolling off of Foles. But, Thibodeaux didn’t help his case as he was seen on the sideline doing the sleeping gesture as Foles was still being checked by medical staff.

Kayvon Thibodeaux celebrates by injured Nick Foles
Foles is done for the day after completing 8-of-13 passes for 81 yards and throwing one interception. It was just Foles’ second start of the season after he was inserted into the lineup for Matt Ryan who was benched for the second time this season. The Colts started the second half with Sam Ehlinger at quarterback. Matt Ryan isn’t dressed for the game, so if anything happens with Ehlinger, Indianapolis will have to resort to an emergency quarterback situation.
As for Kayvon Thibodeaux, he is still in the game and causing the Colts a lot of problems with his play. The New York Giants look like they’re on their way to a win and the postseason, but this celebration is something that Thibodeaux will likely have to answer for after the game.
