The Indianapolis Colts have three games left in the regular season and they could be without Kenny Moore and other names on the injury report.

The Indianapolis Colts have already shut down star players Shaquille Leonard and Jonathan Taylor for the season, and although the team hasn’t announced it, defensive back Kenny Moore also may not return to the field this season. Moore has not played since injuring his ankle in Week 12 against the Steelers. As Indy prepares for a Monday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, Moore’s status didn’t receive a positive update in Indianapolis’ latest injury report.

The Colts reported that Kenny Moore didn’t practice on Thursday, Indy’s first practice of the week. Moore hasn’t practiced at all since he sustained the injury. Considering the fact that Kenny had on a boot and was on a scooter during the week immediately after the injury, it was assumed it would take a few weeks for him to return. Now, with Indy sitting at 4-9-1 with three games remaining, it seems like Moore won’t return to the field until next year.

Colts injury report for Week 16

Moore wasn’t the only person on Indianapolis’ injury report. Tight end Kylen Granson, also dealing with an ankle injury, was the only other player that didn’t practice on Thursday. Cornerback Brandon Facyson, who missed Indy’s Week 15 game with an illness, returned to practice with full participation. Mike Strachan was also a full participant after missing the Week 15 game with a concussion.

The Colts are currently on a four-game losing streak and will be officially out of the playoff race on Sunday with a loss, so it’s unlikely that anyone will be trying to play through injury. While Jeff Saturday did make a quarterback change in hopes to open up the offense and win Indy’s final three games, it’s fair to assume that the franchise is shifting its attention to the future.
