I think it’s best we just all agree not to talk about last week’s game. We’re onto the Chargers. As Indianapolis tries to recapture the magical form it showed in the first half of Saturday’s loss, FanDuel Sportsbook has a special holiday promo for Colts fans: a risk-free bet of up to $2,500!

Here’s how the offer works and how to claim it, along with my best bet below:

Best NFL Week 16 Colts vs. Chargers Bet

The Colts’ defense has completely fallen apart over the last two weeks, surrendering a total of 93 points in a pair of losses. A unit that’s only allowed 5.1 yards per play on the season (ninth in the NFL) gave up 5.6 yards per play over the last three weeks (23rd).

Still, I like the under in this matchup.

The Chargers may be the best antidote for Indy’s recent woes thanks to Los Angeles’ offensive coordinator, Joe Lombardi. His unimaginative, basic concepts leave the Chargers 25th in red zone TD percentage (50%) and they’re a disastrous 36.36% over the last three weeks.

Indy doesn’t score much in the red zone either, finding the end zone only 45% of the time the Colts reach the red zone (31st in the NFL).

I anticipate a lot of field goals, and that falls in line with the Chargers’ recent games. The under has hit in three straight Chargers’ matchups and is 6-3 in the Colts’ last nine as an underdog. Expect those trends to continue in a slugfest on Monday Night Football.

Whether you’re taking the under with me or looking at a different bet in the game, just don’t forget to first sign up for FanDuel Sportsbook and claim your $2,500 risk-free bet. The holidays certainly came early this year with this much money on the table, so take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and sign up now!
