As the Indianapolis Colts prepare for Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Indy has several players on the injury report.

The Indianapolis Colts are stumbling into Week 12 at 4-6-1 and are coming off a last-second loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. While Indy has had some obvious flaws, they have also been pretty competitive and found ways to stay in games. Now, the Colts are preparing for a primetime game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. For Week 12, Indy is hosting the Steelers for Monday Night Football.

If Indianapolis plans on doing more than staying in the game and actually pulling out a win, the team will need the best players to be healthy and on the field. Following Thursday’s walkthrough, that’s not quite the case just yet as Indy has several key players listed on the injury report.

Colts Week 12 injury report

It’s important to note that Indianapolis didn’t actually practice on Thursday, so all statuses were just an estimation of what would’ve likely happened if the Colts were going through a full, live practice instead of a walkthrough. Regardless, there are some key names and injuries that are listed. The biggest name is the first one on the list, DeForest Buckner.

The two-time Pro Bowler is listed on the report with injured ribs and would’ve been held out of a real practice. However, Buckner has developed somewhat of an iron man reputation as he rarely misses games, so it’s fair to expect he’ll be doing everything possible to play Monday night. Along with Buckner, Kylen Granson, Ryan Kelly, and Kwity Paye were also listed as players who wouldn’t have practiced.

Granson, dealing with illness, has been Indy’s most consistent tight end, so his presence is important for the struggling Colts’ offense. Kelly, who’s listed with shoulder and knee injuries, has been having a tough season as he and the offensive line as a whole have been struggling. Paye, having already missed multiple games this season, is still dealing with the same ankle injury.

Aside from those four, Indianapolis listed four other players who don’t seem to be dealing with anything serious. As we get closer to Monday, the injury report will continue to make clear who we should and shouldn’t expect to see in the game.
