Week 12 – Colts vs. Steelers, Monday Night Football

This was originally a win, and it still very likely can be if Indy is able to bounce back off a tough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Considering the way that the Steelers have been playing in recent weeks shows that this could very winnable game on Monday Night Football in Lucas Oil Stadium. The problem, though, is that T.J. Watt is back and healthy.

Watt is coming off a Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and has returned from the patrial-torn pectoral injury that has had him sidelined since Week 1. The way that the Steelers’ defense has been able to capitalize on mistakes worries me for the Colts offense.

Even though the Bengals were able to take care of business last week against the Steelers, the Colts are very far off from the Cincinnati offense. This game won’t be as easy and it should prove to be a tough matchup.

The bright side here is that it took the Eagles nearly all day to beat Indy. Philly finally scored to take the lead in the final minutes of the game. A bounce-back win should be expected, just to mess with the draft order at the end of the season.

Colts win (5-6-1)

Week 13 – Colts at Cowboys, Sunday Night Football

Two prime-time games in a row for the Colts, this time heading to Arlington to play against the red-hot Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys just came off a big win against the Minnesota Vikings and will have a long week after hosting the Giants on Thanksgiving.

With the extra days and a longer Sunday, the Cowboys are prepared to spoil any remaining hope that Indianapolis has for the rest of the season.

Tony Pollard has been absolutely explosive on the Dallas offense and the Colts won’t be able to contain him along with the receiving threats that Dak Prescott has to work with. The Dallas defense is going to be a tough matchup and will get to Matt Ryan early and often.

Colts lose (5-7-1)
