In Week 7, the Indianapolis Colts take on the Tennessee Titans. Here are some of the best bets for Sunday’s divisional game.

The Indianapolis Colts enter Week 7 prepared for a tough divisional matchup against the Tennessee Titans. This is the main rivalry of the AFC South and the division usually comes down to these two teams. However, the Titans have been the standard recently, winning the AFC South the last two years and beating the Colts in four straight matchups. Indy is hoping to change that on Sunday.

Indianapolis is entering the game with some momentum, coming off a 34-27 victory in Week 6 and Indy is also getting some key players back from injuries like Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. However, Tennessee is coming off a bye week so they should be well-rested and prepared. This should lead to a good game with a lot of good action to bet on. Let’s take a look at some of the best bets for the Week 7 matchup.

Best Colts bets Week 7

3. Michael Pittman Jr. over 5.5 receptions (-120)

FanDuel currently has Michael Pittman Jr.‘s total receptions for the game set at 5.5 and the odds for him to hit the over is -120 (bet $120 to win $100). Going with the over is a pretty good bet because Pittman is the clear No. 1 receiver for Indianapolis and he has been a catching machine this season.

Pittman has played in five games this season and his reception totals have been nine, eight, three, five, and 13. The game with five was the historically bad game against the Denver Broncos and the game with three was the first matchup against Tennessee. However, it’s clear those are rarities. Expect Michael Pittman Jr. to have a lot of targets and receptions on Sunday.

2. Alec Pierce over 44.5 receiving yards (-110)

Alec Pierce has arrived in the NFL. Since going catch-less in his Week 1 debut, and missing Week 2 with a concussion, Pierce has jumped back into the lineup and done nothing but make great catches for the Colts. He’s establishing himself as the No. 2 receiver for Indy and putting his name in the Rookie of the Year race.

In Pierce’s last four games, his receiving yards have been 61, 80, 81, and 49. Regressing to 44 yards or less seems unlikely for the emerging wideout. Expect another productive day for the rookie as he helps to stretch the field for the offense.

1. Matt Ryan over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+124)

To many’s surprise, when the Colts are rolling offensively, it’s through the air. Matt Ryan has made his fair share of mistakes but when Indianapolis calls on him to pass the ball a lot, he’s been able to deliver. That’s why it seems like a good bet to take the over on his passing touchdowns because all he needs is two.

In Indy’s last four games, Ryan has thrown two or more touchdowns in three of them, including two in the Week 4 loss against Tennessee. The game that Ryan didn’t throw two touchdowns was against the Denver Broncos and their talented defense. The Titans’ defense isn’t as talented as Denver so it’s unlikely that they’ll have similar success. Expect Ryan to toss a couple of touchdowns as he tries to lead the Colts to another victory.
