1. Brian Burns would be perfect for Indy’s defense

While this is a long shot, I feel like Brian Burns may be one of the most interesting players of all the players that are possibly going to be traded. Burns has skills that are rare for someone that is his age. At just 24 years old, and four seasons in the league, he has put up historic numbers and has a great knack for getting to the quarterback and stuffing runs.

Burns is on a Panthers team that is looking to blow up the roster and start from scratch. He does not need to be on a rebuilding team and a lot of contending teams will definitely benefit from adding him. Indianapolis is one of those teams and they should at least call Carolina about Burns.

The Colts are already pretty good on their defensive line but I think that Brian Burns makes them the best defensive line in the league. You would have DeForest Buckner, Kwity Paye, Yannick Ngakoue, and Grover Stewart to match with Burns. That group could rotate constantly and not skip a beat when someone is out.

Burns is an interesting player that plays with a lot of passion that can really carry over to a team. With the Colts wanting to make a playoff push, making a splash at the trade deadline like this could really change the complexion of the team. I do not see this deal happening, but if it did, the Colts could be one of the more dangerous defenses in the league.
