The Indianapolis Colts take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a Week 6 matchup. Here are some of the best bets for Sunday’s divisional game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have absolutely embarrassed the Indianapolis Colts in the last two matchups and Indy is hoping that changes on Sunday. The Colts haven’t been playing their best football but they do enter this week at 2-2-1 after recording an ugly win on Thursday Night Football in Week 5. Jacksonville, however, has come back down to earth after a hot start, entering Sunday coming off of two-straight losses.

Regardless of how these teams enter matchups against each other, they always play interesting games. No matter how much the Jaguars are struggling, they show up against Indianapolis. That always makes for good games and it also makes for good bets. Let’s take a look at some of the best bets for this Week 6 matchup.

Best Colts bets Week 6

3. Under 41 total points

Anyone who has spent any time watching Indianapolis play football this season knows that the offense is bad and the defense is good. Typically, that results in low-scoring football games. Sunday should be no different and that’s why taking the under is a good bet.

Currently, FanDuel has the over/under on total points set at 41 with -110 odds on both the over and the under. Through five weeks this season, the Colts have been the best under team in the league, going under in all five contests. Expect that to move to six on Sunday.

2. Alec Pierce over 45.5 receiving yards

FanDuel currently has the over/under for Alec Pierce’s receiving yards set at 45.5 with -110 odds for both the over and the under. After watching the rookie’s last few games, everyone should feel comfortable taking the over here. Pierce has really found his rhythm in the league and has become a go-to target for Matt Ryan.

Since clearing concussion protocol and returning in Week 3, Pierce has gone for three catches for 61 yards, four catches for 80 yards, and eight catches for 81 yards. It seems extremely unlikely that he will regress this week and fall under 45 yards. It seems like he catches everything thrown his way, regardless of the pass, and that’s demonstrated by him catching 75% of his targets in the last three weeks.

1. Bobby Okereke over 7.5 tackles

The Colts’ defense has been special and a big reason why has been linebacker play. Led by Zaire Franklin and Bobby Okereke, the linebackers have been flying around making tackles all over the field and that should continue on Sunday. FanDuel currently has the over/under for Okereke tackles set at 7.5 with -130 odds on the over.

Although Zaire Franklin entered Week 6 as the NFL’s tackling leader, Okereke has been racking up the tackles as well. He has 42 tackles on the season and has had over seven tackles in three of the five games this year. In the other two games, Okereke had seven tackles exactly. In the first game against Jacksonville, Bobby Okereke had his season-high of 11 tackles. Expect a similar outing on Sunday.
