The Indianapolis Colts play the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. Here are the best prop bets for the Week 5 matchup.

On Thursday night, the Denver Broncos will host the Indianapolis Colts for a primetime matchup. Both Denver and Indy entered the season with promising expectations but neither team has been able to perform up to par just yet. With both squads battling injuries, Thursday will be a challenge for both franchises.

For the people that are fans of offense, this may not be the most exciting game. The Broncos and the Colts are two of the league’s best defenses through the first four weeks but Indy and Denver are also two of the league’s worst offenses. Regardless, there will be a lot of action for prop bets.

Matt Ryan prop bets

FanDuel has the over/under for Matt Ryan’s passing yards set at 231.5 with -114 odds. That means that whether you believe he will pass for more or less than 231.5 yards, you’ll have to bet $114 to win $100. It’s best to bet the under on Ryan’s passing yards.

Although Ryan has thrown for over 350 yards in two of his four outings this season, he will be challenged this week by an elite Broncos Defense. With a secondary led by the young and talented Patrick Surtain II, Denver is allowing just 170.8 passing yards a game. Only one of the four quarterbacks Denver has faced went over 200 yards and that was Jimmy Garoppolo with just 211 yards. Ryan is unlikely to change this trend.

Mo Alie-Cox prop bets

Mo Alie-Cox is coming off arguably the best game of his career, catching six passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4. Despite that, FanDuel has his over/under for receiving yards set at a modest 20.5 with -114 odds. Alie-Cox will probably hit the over with a couple of catches.

In the four games the Colts have played this season, Alie-Cox has had more than 20 yards in two of them. In the two games he didn’t, he had one catch for nine yards in both. He was essentially another reception from going over 20 yards. Against the Titans, it looked like Ryan and Alie-Cox found something so expect Ryan to go back to the veteran tight end on Thursday night.

Jelani Woods prop bets

Alie-Cox isn’t the only tight end for the Colts that has been making plays, rookie Jelani Woods has joined in on the fun as well. After having two touchdowns in Week 3, Woods had just one big catch for 33 yards as Alie-Cox scored all the touchdowns. Expect things to swing back in Woods’ favor on Thursday.

FanDuel is giving Woods +650 odds to score a touchdown in Thursday’s game. Considering how Indy likes to use its tight ends, and how Woods is a massive red zone target, he may find himself on the receiving end of a Matt Ryan touchdown pass with the defense looking to stop Alie-Cox and Michael Pittman Jr.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
