3. Colts need to take care of the ball

Indy had the eighth-least giveaways last season and that was with Carson Wentz at the helm. While that’s not bad, Indy can’t afford to have more turnovers this season and I do not expect them to. I expect them to be in the top 5 in that category as well with a reliable, veteran quarterback like Ryan.

No disrespect to Carson Wentz, but if he can manage the game and limit his turnovers, there is no reason that Matt Ryan should not do the same. Ryan is an experienced veteran quarterback should help him not give the ball to the other team often.

One way that we take care of the ball is by letting Jonathan Taylor lead the way. He is our workhorse and we need to ride him as far as he will take us. All the while, we can control the game with time of possession if we cut down on the turnovers. As I mentioned earlier, this defense will keep you in it if you limit your turnovers and score!

Ryan is going into a good system with head coach Frank Reich calling the offense and Reich will put Ryan in places that will help him succeed. It reminds me of the offense from 2018 with Andrew Luck. Limiting the turnovers may be the biggest thing that will determine many games this year for the Indianapolis Colts.
