2. Dallis Flowers

Dallis Flowers has stood out at defensive back for Indianapolis during the preseason so far. In the first preseason game, against the Buffalo Bills, Flowers recorded two tackles and an interception. He then totaled six tackles in the second preseason game, against the Detroit Lions.

Pro Football Focus gave Dallis Flowers the fourth-highest grade out of all eligible cornerbacks in week one of the preseason. The main thing that has stood out for Flowers is his ball skills. He’s excelled at making plays with the ball in the air.

Coming from a Division II college, it’s safe to say Flowers may have gone unrecognized in college. He still has a pretty steep hill to climb to make the Colts’ roster but that’s mostly due to the depth that Indy has at defensive back.

Currently, Dallis Flowers is listed towards the back of Indy’s roster. However, even if Flowers doesn’t make the 53-man roster, he has done enough this offseason to put himself on teams’ radars so that he can get another opportunity.
