The Indianapolis Colts signed 22 undrafted free agents this year, which guys impressed the most in training camp and the preseason?

This offseason for the Indianapolis Colts has seen a lot of guys become fan favorites as they make a push to climb up on the depth chart. The final 53-man roster cut date is Tuesday, August 30th. Indy has had more than a few players that have fought to make the roster.

However, there will be 27 players cut before the deadline. Even some of the more impressive undrafted rookies will be cut. This article is not necessarily about which players make the team, but more about which undrafted rookies have improved their stock and earned a spot somewhere in the NFL.

3. Jojo Domann

It would be impossible to talk about standout undrafted free agents without mentioning Jojo Domann. From the very beginning of camp, Jojo Domann has stood out. Since the first week, Domann was said to be flying around the field making plays. It’s no surprise to see Jojo Domann playing well. He’s somebody who would’ve got drafted if he didn’t have a history of injuries in college.

The Colts have released three unofficial depth charts during the preseason and Jojo Domann has been listed second on the depth chart at SAM linebacker only behind Zaire Franklin.

What sets Jojo Domann apart is his versatility. He played a good bit at slot corner for Nebraska. His versatility has shown in camp, with his ability to make plays on the ball as well as keep up with wide receivers downfield.

Domann had four tackles in the preseason game against the Bills. He took snaps at linebacker as well as on special teams. Jojo Domann has certainly made a case to be on Indy’s final 53-man roster, but even if somehow he didn’t make it, Domann has a spot in the NFL.
