Joey Porter Jr, Penn State

Indy needs to be realistic and know that Stephon Gilmore is not going to be a very long-term solution. If the front office does not keep a foot down on the gas and continues to bring in talent, the secondary could be in trouble very quickly again.

Joey Porter Jr. can bring more of an impact in the secondary. With a player that can cover well on the outside, hit hard on the inside, and get sacks when you need it the most, Porter makes a lot of sense for Indy.

With a future secondary roster of Kenny Moore III, Isaiah Rodgers, Brandon Facyson, and Joey Porter Jr. along with Julian Blackmon and Nick Cross, the Colts’ secondary can be very scary in the next few years. Talk about a Legion of Boom.

With a strong secondary to pair with the front seven, Indianapolis’ defense could elevate to the best defense in the NFL. Believe it or not, defense does still win championships in today’s NFL.
