OG Andrew Vorhees, USC

In 2023, the weakest part of the offensive line might be the guard position. Could be crazy to think about when you know the team has Quenton Nelson on the team, but what happens if Indianapolis moves Nelson for draft picks?

What if Nelson gets his overdo extension, but the right guard position remains a weak link? Indy will need to get someone to build depth or maybe even a starting role on the line.

Andrew Vorhees out of USC is going to enter the draft as a top 5 interior offensive lineman and would fit in well in Indianapolis. Vorhees is 6-foot-6, 325 pounds, and a tremendous blocker. He’ll be the perfect linemen to carve lanes for Jonathan Taylor and protect whoever is at quarterback for the Colts.

Adding another young guard at the position that can play any position on the line is going to be yet another valuable asset that Ballard can bring to the team. Depth at guard was previously a strength for Indianapolis. That changed this offseason in free agency. Vorhees would be a no-brainer second-round pick if he is available.
