Tennessee Titans – Last Season (12-5)

In the two games that the Titans and Colts played last season, they were like most games between the two, like two prize fighters in a boxing ring. In the first game, Carson Wentz was injured. In the second game, Derrick Henry sustained an injury. Indianapolis simply did not do enough to beat the Titans last year. In the second game, I feel that Indy took the foot off the gas after going up 14-0 and having the Titans on the ropes. These two games will always be fun to watch.

The Titans are led by their juggernaut, Derrick Henry

It is no secret that the Titans go as Derrick Henry goes. With the trading of A.J. Brown, the Titans do not have many reliable options to lean on other than Henry. Henry is one of the top backs in the league and it seems no matter how much coaches plan for him, they can never stop him.

Another thing about this Titans team is their fanbase. Now, I am a season ticket member with the Colts, and I have seen many fan bases that support their teams, but none is like the fan base of the Titans. When playing in Nashville, that is something that you have to take into account.

There are ways Colts can take advantage of Titans

I think that the Colts need to attack the outside on offense, and need to keep constant pressure on Ryan Tannehill. They must contain Tannehill, he is not near as good in the pocket as he is when he is outside of the pocket or when he tucks it and runs. Indy also needs to be determined to take away the run. To start the season, the Titans will not have any reliable receivers. That is not to say they will not at some point, but to start they will not.

Prediction for this season

I think that on paper that the Colts have a better roster but that does not mean much. I think that they will split the games against the Titans and have their only loss in the division come in Nashville this season.
