LB JoJo Domann should make Colts roster
This former Nebraska Cornhusker is a converted safety-turned-linebacker with enough versatility to make the Colts as a reserve backer. At Nebraska, JoJo Domann earned 2021 Team Defensive MVP, Second-Team All-American AP, and Second-Team All-Big 10 (Coaches).
In 10 games, Domann posted 71 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and three pass deflections in his fifth year at Nebraska.
Add this kind of instinctive team player behind Bobby Okereke and Darius Leonard please and thank you. It’s likely Domann is a special teams performer to begin, learning under some of the best names in the game. Zaire Franklin, a two-time special teams captain for the Colts, joins the cast as potential leaders for the young LB.
Additionally, with Matthew Adams leaving Indianapolis and following Matt Eberflus to the Chicago Bears, that’s a spot open for Domann in the linebacker room and on the special teams unit.
