Are the Colts and the AFC South the worst division in terms of receiver talent?
By Brad Marr
4. NFC South
Atlanta Falcons – Drake London, Bryan Edwards, Olamide Zaccheaus
Carolina Panthers – DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, Terrace Marshall Jr
New Orleans Saints – Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, Jarvis Landry
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage
Health and QB play is the heart and soul of this division. Michael Thomas has barely touched a field since his 2020 season where he was the best player on the field in every game he played in. DJ Moore has been one of the most consistent players and has gained 1400+ yards in each season he’s played. And as long as Marshon Lattimore isn’t on the field, expect Mike Evans to destroy the cornerback lined up opposite him.
3. NFC East
Dallas Cowboys – CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Jalen Tolbert
New York Giants – Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton
Philadelphia Eagles – AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Quez Watkins
Washington Commanders – Terry Mclaurin, Curtis Samuel, Jahan Dotson
Is the NFC East really the 3rd best wide receiver group in the NFL Yes, thanks to the Tennessee Titans and Howie Roseman. AJ Brown is a Philadelphia Eagle and takes over as WR1 from a Heisman winner.
Terry McLaurin is a guy who suffered from inadequate QB play but still made his mark in the NFL as one of the best players at the position. The Cowboys’ offense is pass-heavy with coordinator Kellen Moore calling the plays so CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup offer Dak Prescott two reliable targets. The Giants are still the Giants, but their group is listed.
