Head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, Frank Reich, is giving fans a heads up about an Indy player that will be productive in fantasy this season.

The Indianapolis Colts have already started preparing for next season by starting OTAs. Indy has united its veterans, newly acquired players, and recent draft picks for some spring practices. This is the start of what should be a special season.

Following Wednesday’s practice, head coach Frank Reich spoke with the media. Reich covered a number of topics ranging from Matt Ryan’s acclimation to Kenny Moore sitting out OTAs. Reich also shared some advice that fans should find helpful.

He gave fans a suggestion for their upcoming fantasy drafts. While the Colts have a few players that will be good pickups in fantasy, Reich suggested to fantasy managers that they draft Nyheim Hines.

This fits a theme that has been prevalent this offseason, the belief that Nyheim Hines will have a much bigger role in the Colts’ offense next season.

Hines is a talented player that can run the ball and catch out of the backfield and he was underused last season. Reich admitted that they have to find more ways to get him the ball and it seems like they will deliver on that.

Also, the addition of Matt Ryan is expected to help increase Hines’ usage since Ryan has a history of getting his running backs involved in the passing game.

The Colts have also made it a point to add more running backs to the roster, signing Phillip Lindsay and Ty’Son Williams. The increasing running back depth makes it seem like Hines will take on more of a pass-catching role and see more snaps out of the slot.

All those factors considered, it makes sense that Reich would tell fans to add Hines to their fantasy teams. The versatile back should see much more action this season and should be a beneficial player on the Colts roster and fantasy teams.
