2. Michael Pittman Jr. is a must-draft receiver
Michael Pittman Jr. comes in as Indy’s number one wide receiver, making him a viable option in fantasy drafts. In just his second year, Pittman had over 1,000 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
He was ranked as the 16th-best fantasy wide receiver last year and should only get better with the addition of Matt Ryan.
Pittman should receive more targets this year after a good campaign in his sophomore season. He’s a guy that will definitely benefit from better quarterback play and playing with more weapons. The addition of a receiver like Alec Pierce will make it hard for defenses to solely focus on Pittman.
Last year, Pittman was a viable second wide receiver for fantasy team managers. Look for him to be an elite option this year as a second wide receiver and possibly even become the number one wide receiver for some fantasy teams.
Wide receiver is considered to be the second most important position for fantasy teams, only behind running back. With that being said, you should look to pick Pittman in the third or fourth round of your fantasy draft.
